James Tran, O.D. was raised south of the DFW metroplex. He attended The University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Biology. Afterwards, he attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received his Doctorate of Optometry O.D.
James completed his clinical rotation at Lakeline Vision Source where he obtained experience in practice management skills and modern specialized equipment. He also rotated through Cedar Springs Eye Center, a non-profit eye care facility caring for lower income patients, where he became adept in ocular disease management and specialty contact lens fitting.
In his free time, he enjoys going on runs, hiking, and finding new ways to stay active. While in Dallas, you will find him playing pickleball and searching for delicious cuisines to try as he attempts to eat his way through the Dallas food scene!
